policy evaluation with nonlinear trended outcomes: covid-19 vaccination rates in the us (replication data)

The code in this replication package constructs the analysis file using Stata and MATLAB. The Table_2.do file runs the code that generates the main results Table 2 in the paper, as well as Table 13 and Table 14 in the appendix. The datafile that Table_2.do uses, regression_data_main.csv is derived from weekly_vax.do, which converts the raw vaccination data from daily to weekly. CDC_0221_hpfilter.m then takes the weekly data and smooths it by applying the HP filter. Dacm.do is the dynamic convergence clustering mechanism program, and recursive.do runs the program using the state vaccination data, resulting in the club membership of each state over time. The club membership data is manually entered.
